About Client Support Services (CSS)

For Client Support Services (CSS) at Winston-Salem State University, our mission is to ensure that technology is a bridge, not a barrier, to academic success.

We understand that behind every support ticket is a student preparing for an exam, a faculty member launching a lecture, or a staff member streamlining university operations. That’s why we prioritize a human-centered approach to technical support.

Our team doesn't just fix devices; we provide the peace of mind and reliable tools necessary for the Winston-Salem State University community to excel in a digital world.

Client Support Services consists of:

Client Technology Services – Help Desk Services

Operating as the campus Help Desk, Client Technology Services (CTS) is the first point of contact for all IT support needs, managing everything from university-issued devices and software to seamless network connectivity.

Digital Classroom Services – Classroom Services

The Digital Classroom Services (DCS) division maintains the university's instructional infrastructure, including classroom technologies, video conferencing, and distance learning tools—while managing campus AV needs.
